“The key to having a successful Games is to have as many people as possible available to help spectators make the most of this tremendous event,” said Tom. “Glasgow is the friendliest city on the planet, and I know that when they Games open, the many thousands of people who come to enjoy Glaswegian hospitality and to take in the spectacle of some of the world’s greatest athletes will have a wonderful time – thanks in large part to our army of volunteers.
“The Games Makers at the Olympics did a fantastic job is welcoming visitors to the London games. We can do the same in Scotland’s biggest and most vibrant city,” added Tom.
