Making the case for the Union

Tom Harris kicked off the New Year with an attack on those who want to split up the UK.

Speaking to Andrew Gilligan on London radio station LBC 97.3, Tom rejected the notion that Scotland’s culture is somehow different from that of many other parts of the UK, pointing out that Glasgow as a city has more in common culturally with Manchester than with Edinburgh.

And he again highlighted the nationalists’ double standards in rejecting a Union with England – with whom we share a common language, culture and history – while embracing one with 27 other European nations.
